William Kern: Business Manager
tfa97art@thompsonfinearts.com
Bill saw Dan's artwork many years ago and said, "Wow!" Even though the world was
screaming at him to work a "regular job", Bill had his eye on a different star.
He knew if he didn't give up, which is certainly not his nature, he could take Dan out to
meet the rest of the World, and meet the World they did! Bill has been promoting Dan's
artwork and getting Dan's artwork in shows all over the nation. Twelve years now.
Bill personally built, with the help of some
mighty fine people in Minnesota, Colorado, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arizona, every
shop that Dan's fabulous works of art can be seen, admired, and purchased. This was no
easy job. Everything from sitting in a rain-soaked tent with the artwork protected by his
only bed and doing bookwork by Coleman lantern. Bill is a real pioneer in a world where
most of us would not even dare to do such things with our lives.
Bill's total commitment is solely
responsible for the survival of Thompson Fine Arts. Bill has developed a technique of
lithography that is vital in order to maintain the integrity of the original artwork. The
beautifully detailed, limited edition lithographs are the result of this painstaking
process.
In addition, Bill has worked seven days a
week for the past twenty + years to transport all interested travelers into Dan Thompson's
magical world of power, fantasy, and beauty.
Bill also takes care of all matters of
business that keeps it going - paying a ton of bills with not nearly enough money, taxes,
scheduling, construction, automotive repairs, making sure Dan is safe and has every thing
Dan needs to create his artwork and fishing of course.
I love my husband; he is so cute... |

Dianna Kern: Super Glue/Loving Wife
(dk) 1956-2008
manager@win2005.net
Dianna, (Di) ............a valuable asset
to us all, and has at many times, been the glue that has held this thing firmly together.
She is filled with complete love, wisdom, and compassion. She has changed lives, and moved
this business into unexpected horizons.
But, for me, she has played a very special
and integral role in my life. Dianna brought me into this magical world, to write the
poetry for some of Dan's artwork. Unbeknownst to her, that with the giving of this task,
she instantly renewed the love and inspiration within my heart. She is extremely generous
and giving, and has poured love onto all of our lives from the very beginning. Dianna is
one of the most special people in my life, and though she doesn't know it, she has
emanated herself as a part of MY family. It's said that blood is thicker than water, but I
have learned, that the bonds of true friendship are the thickest of all and can never be
broken.
Her ideas and immense creativity, are the
inspiration for everything that I have written, and without her, I would not be where I am
today. Dianna has faced many obstacles and hardships throughout her life, but she managed
to overcome them, and somehow continued to hold on to everything
positive..love...love...love. Whereas most of us would give up, or turn our backs on the
world, she ,moves forward with strength and determination, spreading happiness to every
life she touches.
Dianna shares every success with us, as if
they were our own victories. The same as she said about us, we know also, that if she were
filthy rich, or dirt-rotten poor, she would still bestill upon others all her wealth,
love, and prosperity. I know she will remember us all when her successes in life fly high,
and I wish her to know, that I will remember her for always.
My dear Dianna,
As the saying goes, "In order to soar,
you must learn how to fly." Well, you have taught me, and everyone else how to fly,
and it is on the strength of your wings, that we forever will soar. Di, I love you as if I
had known you all ,my life, and at times I think I did. Look how fate has brought us all
together, I know we knew you in lifetimes since past, and that we will meet once again in
the lifetimes ahead. Keep loving, and I'll keep writing of it! |

Gil Davies: Web Master/Consultant
gildavies@idcomm.com
http://www.homespunwebs.com (Under construction)
Without the help of dear friend and "Web Master" Gil Davies, our dream of being
on-line would still be just that, a dream.
Without regard for his valuable time and
talent, Gil has made it possible for you, the browser, to explore the highly complex and
detailed artwork of Dan Thompson.
In our society, it is very rare to meet
anyone who is so willing to give without any underlying motives. It's hard to say what
brought you to us dear Gil. We can only be grateful that you are here. If we never had a
dime or were very rich, the man would treat us the same. We are all better off for meeting
and knowing you dear friend, Web Master or not...
Our thanks are many, our gold coins are few,
we'd still be depressed, and without a web site!, if it wasn't for you! |
